Account / Business Development Manager

Summary Job Description

Working as our Account / BDM you will be responsible for sourcing and converting new business leads, growing existing accounts and working with the rest of the team to improve, develop, maintain and help to grow 01 Agency and its client base.

The role encompasses a wide range of duties, including:-  

  • Source and develop warm and cold leads and building the new business pipeline  
  • Create and prepare relevant case studies and sales material as required
  • Deliver a compelling prospect approach sharing report and activity plans with management
  • Outbound prospecting via social, email, phone and face to face meetings  
  • Helping to refine the overall proposition and services of the agency and aligning this with the client’s needs  
  • Participate in account brainstorming and strategy development  
  • Build and maintain a detailed knowledge of the our clients sectors, looking for new opportunities and how we can best help them
  • Attend networking events/seminars to create awareness of our business and services
  • Working alongside the current technical and creative resources to identify opportunities with current clients
  • Work closely with technical and creative resources to ensure smooth transition from new business to account work
  • Provide up to date and detailed pipeline forecasts

Essential attributes :

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Sales/Marketing role  
  • A passion for and thorough understanding of the digital media marketplace, specifically in the areas of Digital and Search Marketing
  • Excellent organisational, project management and problem solving skills  
  • A clear, confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure, building and maintaining strong working relationships internally and externally
  • Track record of success in business development and sales in a digital marketing agency or related environment
